In today's hyper-consumer society, where quantity has been intensified by the constant need for novelty, it is important to question the impact of this predisposition towards artistic creation. Integrated into a system of commodification, in which productivist logics and numerical metrics of approval and appreciation are imposed, art is distanced from life.

The CEENTAA Residencies seek to reconnect with life, creating conditions for a slowdown through synchronicity with Nature, which is encouraged by direct contact with it through agricultural practices. A concrete relationship with reality that requires a full presence – conscious and active – and that establishes a space of equality. We therefore propose that the resident artists surrender themselves to unpredictability, while participating and interacting with agroforestry and local communities in the context of the thematic axes of the programme, contributing to the reflections launched.

CEENTAA Residencies have a minimum duration of one month, encouraging a continued and longer presence in the territory. Individuals or entities wishing to join this vision are welcome.
