About the event
Spring is the time of year when the earth awakens – when what lay dormant, kept beneath the soil during the cold months, bursts forth in the form of new life. To celebrate it is to recognize that transformation is not a one-off event but a continuous, silent, and inevitable process to which we belong. The Spring Festival is born from this recognition – and from the awareness that we too are part of this same cycle, as elements of a nature that constitutes us and that we must care for.
The making of bread marks the rhythm of these two days. Made from transformed grains, water, time, and hands, bread embodies the same logic of the season: it ferments slowly, demands patience and presence, and is only complete in its encounter with warmth.
